I host quiz nights for friends, and as the one who wrote the quiz I always knew the answers. So I never got to argue over a guess with a team or join in the creative rounds. I built exquizme so I could play along.
It works like a pub quiz or game show on your TV. The questions go on the big screen, and teams join from their phones with a code or QR (no account, no install). An AI moderator comments on the answers and judges the open rounds. You can also still do everything yourself if you just want a simpler way to create and run a quiz.
Rounds
Multiple choice, exact answer and closest guess
Creative questions, where teams write a pitch, a name or a story
Photo challenges, where teams make a picture with whatever is lying around the flat and the AI ranks them
Card decks that hand each team a card that sets how it has to answer
Pick your quizmaster
Choose from four AI moderators: The Quizmaster, The Friendly Host, Santa Claus and The Pumpkin Reaper. Each has its own personality and voice, in English or German, and you can give them your own name.
Build your quiz
Write questions in Quiz Studio and let the AI fill in the answers, so you find out with everyone else. Or connect Claude or ChatGPT and have it build the whole quiz for you. With hidden answers turned on, you can play your own quiz without spoilers.
Not sure where to start? Every new account gets a starter quiz, and you can copy the quizzes from my own quiz nights in one click.
It's free. Hosting needs an account, players don't need one.
